Looking more dazzling than scary in these shots thankz to *shiroang's SK II whitening D: But they're still really pretty!! Thankz shiro!! <3 (He was the first photog who found me before my make-up melted off from the Singapore heat, clearly banshees belong in cold underground catacombs and not in sunlight D

Added that little gif of banshee at the corner~ someone who took a photo of our team at cosfest did that and I thought it was really cute <3

Another product of one too many hours playing Ragnarok Online D: I thought I had lost it when I decided to cos Banshee (and I still think I had one screw loose for making it) but after all the angst and horror it is done!! Not the most painful costume I've done this year (homuhomu swipes the award for that) but definitely the most time consuming. Drafting the skirt alone took about 4 hours and ripping the edges took about another 3 while I rewatched Madoka Magica, bringing total costume construction time up to a whooping 15 hours (including dye job and other stuff)

The wig D< oh the wigggggggg. My eternal gratitude to *meeelldango who came over to help me rip apart 2 wigs and put them back together, and layered them down so I could style it. It was epic, I looked like a blue cousin IT from the addams family

. Transported the monstrosity from Aus back to SG and spent another 5 hours, using a cone base and 2 whole bottles of hairspray, and more selective cutting and reattaching of fibres to turn it into the monster on my head that you see. I finally feel worthy of the title "Monster" that my RO guild has bestowed upon me.

Other than melting rapidly in the Singapore heat. I really enjoyed cosing Banshee ~ If I was a monster in RO, I'd definitely be a Banshee

scary, loud and with a big gown!!

Extra thanks to ~hiyuki for the hoopskirt loan, ~PumpkinWin who put up with me for 3 months while I kept changing my mind on which monster to cos, *sakurazaki for loaning me fake eyelashes when I very stupidly left the $7 ones I bought for this cos at home Q.Q, UHU glue and bringing the hoopskirt, ~Rainer-T for last minute wig styling and *Zander-D for helping me into my shoes!!
